Cob LEDs
Written by Will on Mar 27th 2018

I bought this light to test the Citizen cob in comparison to the Cree cob I got from Timber....these have been put into use in the middle of a flowering grow. I am amazed at how my plants love this light. There is so much light blasting from these that I ran at 50% and gradually adjusted to about 90%. This light has paid for itself already.....absolutely love this light and the quality of the build is outstanding. The components are very high quality and perfectly matched. My main reason for trying Timber LED cob lights was to reduce heat. These lights cut my wattage use down by almost 40%. I have some of best LEDs from the leading companies but these are fast becoming my favorite.

Good light-QC is lacking

Excellent light, great coverage, decent price. QC is a bit lacking. Light showed up with a small nick in one corner. Either the cut was started wrong or that aluminum piece was dropped on the corner. The only reason I say anything is because it's sharp so you may want to pay more attention before shipping. This is something that should have been caught and could have been corrected immediately...in about 30 seconds with a file...which is what I did. Other than that, excellent light.
