Light works great! Love everything about it just wish I bought more!
the subject says it all but these really are the best cob led’s on the market. i replace some Qboards in my flower room that i ‘thought’ i was having great results with until these shed light on that! “enjoy the free pun” by replacing those four boards with two 2Vl’s i not only lower the room temp, increased par output and a more even light displacement but also reduced my electric footprint. pre-flowers are quicker to show and lower leafs and branches show no signs of any lack of light penetration without defoliation. easy to hang and look professional when done. i’m waiting on my third to ship now so i can order a fourth! if your upgrading start with these on low! enjoy OG
Without a doubt the best light I have ever worked with. Only downside was the length of time it took to receive the light. Even with that said when I contacted Timber for an update, Dan always responded in a timely manner and provided top notch customer service. I ordered the light and now that I have used it will be ordering from them again. Top notch product and top notch service. You will not be disappointed. Just know going in that it may take awhile to receive your light. They are custom built to order. I went with the 3500K spectrum and it has exceeded my expectations to date.
Went from blurple to timber 4vs and the light penetration was so much better. Like day and night. Better yield by 40%. Needed to expand the room by a foot so I added a 2 vs and I am thrilled. Got the light all the way up and pentetometer at half and plant are praying. Can’t wait to flip with all six cobs running. Excellent customer service. You just can’t go wrong with timber lights.
I was on the fence about upgrading my lighting, however, I'd heard great things about Timber from a friend and long-time cultivator. I sent the company an email asking for recommendations on which fixture and spectrum and Dan responded within hours! I am currently using this in 3500k spectrum in a 3x3 tent grow with a run of autoflowers and, so far, they love this light. It is very bright and the full spectrum, or "white" light it emits is great for looking for pests and assessing overall plant health, which is a highly underrated feature. Power bill has actually decreased since I changed from my "blurple" LED. I have NOT completed a full cycle with photoperiod plants under this fixture yet, though I have yet to be disappointed. I will be using TGL for all my cultivation-lighting needs going forward! Thanks Dan!
Awesome product and people. Using them as supplemental light for my orchids grown in a lean-to greenhouse with a short summer day length and much shorter in winter. Bought three 2VL's on 42" rails at 4000k. Talk to the experts, they can/will customize these lights for what you need. I grow low light orchids and these lights extended my grow period to 14 hours/day. Will have to monitor in the summer and might need to only run them in the afternoon. Paired these with Gosund wireless light timers. Thank you Timber...
Excellent unit professionally customized to your specifications using only the highest quality components. The light frame is strong and ready to serve a lifetime. The dimmer option is appreciated as are the high end heat sinks. I added two large case/entertainment center exhaust fans on top of the heat sinks to bring the already low temperatures. Unit is extremely quiet.
Light is built and assembled very well, and looks beautiful hanging. Little over 3 weeks since pop and I could not be happier. Timber is the King for High End cob’s. I see why they stuck with Vero 29’s. Just ordered my second fixture....
I have only done one grow prior to buying this light. My previous grow did ok, but I had a crappy Galaxyhydro 300. It got the job done. However this light on the other hand produced far stronger plants. I cannot speak to yield because I don't keep track of things like that atm. But the sole plant that turned out to be female was the runt of the litter. She also was stressed due to my schedule and this light kept her going where the other light was failing. With that being said I have had nothing but an amazing experience with the light and it's worth every penny.
My second fixture from timber and I plan to phase out all my DE hps for cobs. Fantastic useable light output vs heat
Have not set it up yet, in the process of moving. But have unboxed and plugged the fixture in and it is an extremely quality product. And judging just by the light output, coupled with the other great reviews... It seems I’m in for a treat.
This light is incredible! I used it to replace a 400watt eye daylight mh and let me say it did that and some. Ive had it running maybe 75% because my seedlings just cant handle the light intensity and thats about 4 feet from the light. It might seem like over kill but i plan on getting a few more of these strictly for my house plants. Build quality it top notch, packaged tight and well protected. I cant wait to see how this light pairs with LEP!
After I placed my order, it took about a week and a half to arrive. Arrived in perfect condition. First thing I noticed out of the box was the build quality. Wow. Really solid, totally overbuilt and heavy for its size. I love it. I already have it over some plants and they're loving it. The dimmer works great and overall I'm very happy with this product.
Very good quality from timber. More light with 1/3 of the heat compared to Mh or Hps. Biggest draw back is the distance between nodes is reduced significantly adding 1-2 extra weeks in vegetative to get the same height and making heavy dense flowers. The dimming is very helpful because otherwise they are blindingly bright.
Since plugging it in my heat stress problems from using hps are gone and the quality has only improved. Love my timber.
Dan is the man ! Thanks timber. Great product.. I’m very pleased
This little sucker POUNDS. I only wish I was able to afford one of the bigger models. But for the money? Insane results. I went from just a 600w LED grow fixture - to adding this, in a 3x3 tent. My plants started exploding with growth. I'm loving this beautifully-constructed, sturdy and powerful piece of technology. The week-long wait was a little bit of a bummer, but you gotta realize that the week is spent giving these babies the love and attention they really deserve. Will be a returning customer!
I own two models from Timber. I own this 2VL and I own the 4VS. This is to mimic the configuration of the 4x4 model, with the added adaptability to move lights around. The build quality between both models are slightly different. While at first glance, they appear to be matching units, the build quality was a little bit different. First of all, the dimmer knob was completely different in terms of the range to turn the knobs. One of them turns almost 360 degrees, while the other unit doesn't turn that much. Very small difference but not much to complain about. However, what did bother me is was the installation of the dimmer knob on the 2VL. It clearly was mounted unevenly. (I can provide images if needed) Like, when you look at both units in my tent right now, you can totally see that the dimmer knob was installed at an angle, rather than being flush with the rest of the unit. It's pretty damned crooked. But I didn't complain or ask for a trade for a better working one. (mostly out of convenience because I am flowering right now, and because I can use my own tools and likely unattach and re-attach the dimmer knob so that it doesn't look like crap.) That being said, these lights are great. I mean Vero29 Gen7s are great COBs. Also, Dan was very helpful in getting me what I needed. I'm 2 weeks from harvest and my buds looks incredible. thick, chunky, frosty, smells great, looks great! Still a great product and company. I just would like a flawless execution of the build for the price I pay for it.
